Tamoxifen Citrate tablet

Tamoxifen is a Selective Estrogen-Receptor Modifier (SERM), which has both estrogenic AND anti-estrogenic effects on various tissues in the body. It is chemically related to another anti-estrogen, clomiphene (see Clomiphene Citrate). Tamoxifen is commonly prescribed to block the effects of estrogen, and can be used in the treatment of breast cancer.
