Danazol capsule

Danazol is a synthetic steroid derived from ethisterone (ethinyl testosterone), which is antiestrogenic and weakly androgenic. This is commonly prescribed for the treatment of endometriosis, hereditary angioedema prophylaxis, and palliative treatment of fibrocystic breast disease. It may also be used in the treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenia/idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), mastalgia associated with premenstrual syndrome; PMS-associated bloating and weight gain, anxiety, depressive symptoms, and emergency postcoital contraception.
