Finasteride/Latanoprost (0.01/0.003%) Topical Foam, 30mL

This topical foam includes a combination of Finasteride and Latanoprost. Finasteride (popularly known as the active ingredient in Propecia), is a medication commonly prescribed for the treatment of male pattern baldness. It reportedly reduces the active levels of DHT in the body to prevent miniaturization of hair follicles. Latanoprost is a medication commonly prescribed for the treatment of glaucoma and intraocular pressure or hypertension. This is done by opening the channels that drain fluid from the eye. It is similar to the eyelash restoration drug, bimatoprost; better-known by it's brand-name Latisse. There have been recent studies showing that Latanoprost is a drug that mimics naturally-derived compound molecules called prostaglandins, which have been shown to significantly increase hair density on the scalp after 24 weeks of treatment in young men with mild hair loss when applied topically to the scalp.
