Latanoprost

Latanoprost is a medication commonly prescribed for the treatment of glaucoma and intraocular pressure or hypertension. This is done by opening the channels that drain fluid from the eye. It is similar to the eyelash restoration drug, bimatoprost; better-known by it's brand-name Latisse. There have been recent studies showing that Latanoprost is a drug that mimics naturally-derived compound molecules called prostaglandins, which have been shown to significantly increase hair density on the scalp after 24 weeks of treatment in young men with mild hair loss when applied topically to the scalp.

Finasteride

Finasteride is also used for treating hair loss in men and has been shown to be effective for mild to moderate hair loss of the vertex and anterior mid-scalp area; efficacy in bitemporal recession has not been established.
