Adrenal Tea Capsules are compounded with ingredients to help improve fatigue, stress, and adrenal function. These ingredients include Siberian Ginseng, Astragalus Membranacous, Ashwaghanda, and Magnolia officinalis.
Siberian Ginseng is an adaptogen used to increase resistance to the stress reaction that occurs by improving the sensitivity of the hypothalamic-pituitary (HPA) axis to cortisol. It is reported to have the ability to stimulate the immune and circulatory systems, regulate blood pressure, reduce inflammation, treat insomnia, and increase stamina.
Astragalus Membranecous has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for thousands of years. It was often combined with other herbs to strengthen the body against disease. Astragals is called an adaptogen, meaning it helps protect the body against various stresses; including physical, mental, or emotional stress. Astragalus may help protect the body from diseases such as cancer and diabetes. It contains antioxidants, which protect cells against damage. Astragalus is used to protect and support the immune system, preventing colds and upper respiratory infections, lower blood pressure, treating diabetes, and protecting the liver. In addition, studies have shown that Astragalus has antiviral properties and stimulates the immune system, suggesting that it may prevent colds.
Ashwaghanda is considered an adaptogen, which is a nontoxic herb that help reduce stress, decrease inflammation, and improve cognitive function. There is some evidence that ashwaghanda might reduce blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. It is part of a rare group of botanicals and mushrooms possessing unique properties that help support the body's ability to resist and recover from stress, boost energy, and provide an enhanced feeling of overall well-being
Magnolia officinalis is used into traditional Chinese medicine to help relax and relieve stress. Studied in combination with Phellodenderon amurense has shown a slight decrease in cortisol levels, although not statistically significant compared to placebo. Magnolia officinalis as a traditional Chinese herb has long been used for the treatment of anxiety, cough, headache, and allergic diseases, and also have been used into traditional Chinese medicine to treat a variety of mental disorders including depression.
