The Quantitative Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) test can be used to test and monitor quantitative beta hCG levels in the treatment of males who are on various different hCG regimens (100-150iu daily, 250iu biweekly/three times weekly, 500iu biweekly, etc.) for testosterone therapies. This testing helps quantify the levels attained with various dosages and attempts to correlate/mimic the endogenous equivalent (Luteinizing Hormone/LH) as closely as possible. The quantitative beta hCG test is reported in the same units as the LH test (mIU/mL), so the correlation would be straightforward. Adding this objective measurement may help to determine (and validate) an ideal hCG regimen and dosing protocol for patients.
