This acne cream is comprised of two ingredients:
Ketoconazole- An anti-fungal medication which can also be effective in stimulating new hair growth if suffering from androgenetic alopecia. In addition to killing fungi, ketoconazole is also helpful in countering the effects of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) - Helps protect skin from UV damage while suppressing melanin from reaching the surface of the skin. Melanin is a naturally occurring substance in the body responsible for the skin's color and absorption of UV rays. Too much melanin can result in age spots, freckles, and hyperpigmentation. Applying niacinamide topically can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmented spots, red blotchiness, skin sallowness (yellowing), while also improving skin elasticity.
