This Hyperpigmentation cream contains a combination of ingredients that work synergistically to lighten, as well as provide anti-aging benefits to the skin.

Hydroquinone is found naturally in certain plant species and has been shown to have antioxidant properties. It is used topically as a skin-bleaching agent to lighten areas of darkened skin (i.e. age spots, acne scars). This works by decreasing the production of melanin pigment granules, while increasing the breakdown of them as well.

Kojic acid is a chelation agent produced by several species of fungi, and is used topically to lighten skin. This also has antibacterial and antifungal properties, and may also have protective effects from radiation-induced damage. Hydrocortisone is used to treat allergic rashes, eczema, psoriasis, itching, and other inflammatory skin conditions when applied topically.
