Intermediate Follow-Up Consultation (30 minutes)

Follow-up consultations are required at least twice-per-year while on a hormone replacement therapy regimen to review blood work. If a consultation is warranted outside of this twice-per-year (or every 3-6 month) schedule, the patient will be scheduled with one of our Mid-Level Physicians (Physician's Assistant, Nurse Practitioner) or Registered Nurses for 30 minutes to review 3-5 lab tests.

One of the purposes behind drawing blood for analysis is to provide our physician with a means to compare how you are responding to therapy with your hormone blood levels and other important indicators of your health. This information allows our physician's and practitioners to make appropriate adjustments to the regimen, which not only improves how the patient is feeling but may minimize any side effects and risks with treatment.
