PRP Follow-Up Treatment - Joint Restoration
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections can be used in the treatment for Osteoarthritis and Chronic Tendonitis to help with joint injury healing and restoration. This non-surgical treatment can reduce pain, providing long-term relief from common orthopedic conditions including osteoarthritis and chronic tendonitis. Some patients with more difficult injuries may require more than one series of injections to achieve a successful outcome. The majority of PRP patients find that within 3 months of their first treatment they can return to most or all of the activities they were doing before the pains tarted. Each set of treatments is spaced approximately 12-24 weeks apart. There is no limit to the number of treatments you can have. The risks and side effects do not change with the number of injections. We have patients who have reported experiencing significant benefit after a single treatment, whle some experienced an increased benefit with 2-3 treatments.
