The Executive Stress infusion may be useful in the treatment of symptoms resulting from high levels of physical and/or mental stress due to workload, travel, poor diet, and more. This will also help with general hydration. This includes a combination of Ascorbic Acid, B vitamins, Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Glutathione, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and amino acids. Below are the benefits of each of these ingredients:

IV Bag #1 (500mL Saline)

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) - Acts as an immune booster, antioxidant, antiviral, antibiotic, and antihistamine. This helps with fatigue, chronic illness, reduces oxidative stress loads; and plays an important role in wound healing, immunotherapy, and heart health. The Preservative Free version is preferred in instances like this when administering larger volumes of Ascorbic Acid, to avoid risk of an adverse reaction caused by preservatives.

IV Bag #2 (500mL Saline):

Dexpanthenol (Vitamin B5) - Used to nourish patients and stimulate gastrointestinal (GI) function. Critical in the formation of Coenzyme A, a molecule that helps a large amount of enzymes function in the body and for energy production in general.

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) - Lowers homocysteine; alleviates depression; and improves mood. Involved in the process of making serotonin and norepinephrine and the formation of myelin. Has been studied for the treatment of many conditions including anemia, vitamin B6 deficiency, certain seizures in newborns, and side effects of the drug cycloserine.

Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) - Increases red blood cells and appetite; can be used to treat anemia; improves mood and energy; should be supplemented in vegetarians who do not get adequate amounts of B12 from diet or patients consuming low calorie/low protein diet. Vitamin B12 has some metabolic and therapeutic applications not shared with other forms of vitamin B12 (i.e. Cyanocobalamin). B12 supplementation is a very effective treatment for B12 deficiencies commonly found in patients who suffer from diseases or have nutritional deficits (such as ultra low calorie diets).

Magnesium Sulfate - Supplemented in patients who are depleted of minerals; acts a muscle relaxant and provides pain relief; has a calming effect which can help promote relaxation/sleep. Helps maintain normal muscle tissue, regulate heart rhythms, support immune function, and keep nerves functioning properly.

Calcium Gluconate - Principally found in bones and teeth. An important ion in the metabolic processes and an essential mineral supplemented to prevent osteoporosis.

Niacin (Vitamin B3) - Used as a treatment for depression and anxiety. Helps the body make various sex and stress-related hormones in the adrenal glands and other parts of the body; also helps improve circulation and has been shown to suppress inflammation.

Zinc - Supplemented in patients who are depleted of minerals. This is sometimes used to balance sex hormones an dimprove androgen to estrogen ratios in men. Involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism. Required for the catalytic activity of approximately 100 enzymes and plays a role in immune function, protein synthesis, wound healing, DNA synthesis and cell division. Supports normall growth and development during pregnancy, childhood, adolescence, and is required for proper sense of taste and smell. Daily intake of zinc is required to maintain a steady state because the body has no specialized zinc storages.

L-Glutathione - Administered by push during the infusion. A potent water-soluble antioxidant which helps repair damaged cells, detoxify the liver, boost the immune system, and assist in the metabolism of toxins. It's primary function is to fight against free radicals and the benefits mostly pertain to the halting of disease. It can help repair damaged cells caused by stress, radiation, pollution, infection, and a host of other ailments.

Tri-Amino - Administered by push during the infusion. A combination of L-Ornithine, L-Arginine, and L-Citrulline (OAC), which are amino acids that promote the production of Nitric Oxide (N02) and improve circulation, growth hormone, and muscular endurance. Tri-Amino was designed to help improve lean body mass, athletic performance, cardiovascular health, and vascular function. It is used to promote wound healing and recovery from sports-related (or work) injury.

Alpha Lipoic Acid - Administered by push during the infusion. An antioxidant and mitochondrial fatty acid that is highly involved in energy metabolism. It is synthesized in the body and can be consumed through eating meats as well as minimally in some fruits/vegetables. ALA has shown benefits against various forms of oxidation and inflammation. It is a potent antioxidant compound that works with mitochondria and the body's natural antioxidant defenses. It is also seen as an anti-aging compound since it can reverse some of the oxidant damage-related effects of aging.
